GO CARDS!

Tomorrow is a BIG day for us Arizonans, even more so if you live in Glendale. My husband is lucky since he gets to work the playoff game, and I'm going to watch it at my parents house since my dad is their biggest fan, next to the D-Backs. We have our gear, just need some beer : )
If they win, I can guarantee we will be having another Superbowl party at our casa in two weeks. Root, Root, Root for the Home Team...yeah Go Cardinals we know you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2009 To A Better Me!

I thought I would share my thoughts on New Year's Day 2009, I know resolutions never seem to stick but these are more of reminders to myself and how I can make a bigger difference to those around me for the next 365 days ahead.....I hope you enjoy them as much as I will!

  • Walk or Ride 30 minutes a day

  • Hug my husband daily

  • Tell Cody I'm proud of him and point out the reasons why

  • Spend more time with my parents

  • Update my blog weekly

  • Smile because I am thankful for ALL that we have

  • Compliment others, even strangers

  • Read at least 1 book a month

  • Start kickboxing again to relieve stress

  • Start yoga again to relax my mind and body

  • Scrapbook more of our memories and join the "Pieces of Me" class again

  • Save $ so we can take a family vacation this summer

  • Send a friend a card just to say hello

  • Try to be patient with Cody's father

  • Try one new receipe each week

  • Drink more water

  • Try for baby #2 in February

  • Stay organized

  • Start our painting projects, beginning with Cody's bathroom

  • Put more Lunch Box Letters in Cody's bag each week

  • Daily reading in my Comfort & Joy book

  • Take Cody to see the plays "Cats" and "Stomp"

  • Go to the new aquarium in town

  • Give back to my neighbors for helping us out with Cody so much

  • Take a bath after a long day

  • Give myself pedicures

  • Spend more time on my hair, it has the ability to look cute

  • Make a new friend

  • Adopt another cat (shhh)

  • Do more family activities together like playing board games, taking bike rides and road trips with the three of us

  • Climb the mountain by our house

  • See the circus when it comes to town

I know this list will only grow, and I would love to see what reminders my friends have for themselves as well. Hugs to all and Happy New Year!!!
